Bored people have crazy zombie dreams.

Ok on a more serious note then elephants that look like dicks. I friggin miss everyone so much. Outside of looking for a new job, I have pretty much nothing at all to do. The only true stimuli I have is my friends, which other then short visits I havent seen much of you guys. I know you have work and lives, but I miss you guys alot, and I'm going kinda stir crazy.

Also, last night I had this nightmare about zombies, and it was LONG and involved. I remember alot of it, and I was in it for at least a few "days". So I wake up in my bed, all nice and relieved right cause "Woo, the majority of the population isnt undead!!" when I hear this terrible throaty female moan. Mel is asleep beside me and not moaning, but sleeping. Which is good, I dont need to bash her brains out with a chair. But the moaning is in the appartment, and its distinctly creepy. So, like any 5 year old kid being tugged around by the arm via his imagination, I grab my SPQR knife and check it out. Apparently I had a window open like 1/4 of an inch, and the resulting sound was SPOT on for zombie moan. I cant repeat enough how throaty and REAL this moan sounded. I know what wind sounds like, and if I heard it again, I would still think it was moaning. The shame is I will never be able to get the window into the right spot to show you guys. For a few seconds I was completely convinced I was going to spend the rest of my life in an undead hell with no gun, minimal supplies, and 12 stories up in a building filled with the undead...and that was only if I managed to fight off the one in my living room.

Another haunting image from the dream actually which has been kinda wierding me out all day was at one point I was sneaking around with the group of non-descript extras in my dream trying to get to safety when we see this other group of people holding hands singing as loud as they can. I cant remember the song, but it was big on unity and hope etc. Probably the one from the end of ghostbusters 2..."and the world, will be a better place!". While the zombie hordes converged on them. What am image for the mind to portray, unguided. I wish I had a shrink to tell me what thats all about, although with my luck it means I'm gay.

I wish I could go back in there though and ask, "Why didnt you fight back/run/hide?" Was it misguided faith? Or were they the band on the titanic, belting it out one last time before the inevitable? Maybe they were just a crazy cult, all I know is looking down from 3 stories up, seeing them there surrounded, backs to the wall, singing for all they were worth made me feel...I dunno. Theres probably a word for it but I dont know it. Some sort of combination of sad, and hopeful, helpless and inspired all at once. Part of me wanted to be down there, taking the easy way out with a smile, while the rest of me was saying "fucking morons."...the same part of me that were the situation real, would be eating stale food and hiding in a closet until I starved.

And like putting a math equation out on paper, I figured it out for myself. That part was about faith. They were the ones revelations talks about. The ones that go easy, before things get really bad. They have faith, and its over nice and fast, because they know deep down where they are going. While the rest of us fight over canned beans and who sleeps in the latrine corner, for fear that at the end theres just nothing, so we scrape out every miserable second/minute/day we can, fighting fate and our fear of the unknown.

I still see it as quitting though, buncha nancies.

I like this, you gave me an epiphany for a rant, which is good cause sometimes I run out of ideas. So speaking about faith and how those people knew where they were going. Well we joke around about us all going to hell when we are checking out some JB, but if the bible is any indication of what is a hell worthy tresspass and what isn't, then I'm certainly going to a nice pit of fiery justice when I die. I know I'm a nice person, but when you've violated seven of the ten commandments, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to heaven. But I have this wish that maybe I'll still be a nice person, and the devil will like me and let me come back to earth as an all powerful half demon monster and I can exact my revenge upon the world...

You know, re-reading that, I actually scared the shit out of myself.

Going back to the discussion of dreams, this will be the third night that I have been chased by some sort of robotic hunter type thing, I had terminators the first night, crazy robotic Bee's the next, and another terminator last night. I'm curious to see what tonight brings, maybe combine yours and mine and have millions of terminator zombies.
