Female geeks.... why do I hate them?

So today I was listening to my geek comic podcasts, and since its thursday, its the day I get to listen to my favorite one, The Watchtower, which is based in Toronto! But anyways, today they had something that I've never heard in a geek comic podcast, a female guest. Her name is Katherine Curtis and she's known as the Naked Nerd. She's on that show called the Naked News and she does a segment called the Naked Nerd where she interviews comic creators, writers and artists while stripping naked. Now in the podcast, she actually knew more about comics then a few of the podcasters, so she's actually a very good looking comic book fan who loves to be naked. So my question is.... why do I hate her already?

I seem to completely hate female geeks and I'm not entirely sure why, I have a theory, but I will get to that later, but its not just the Naked Nerd, I also hate the Slander and Lies chick too, and we all know about my extreme hatred of warcraft gamer girls. So why do I hate them so much? I think I have a theory

Before I met Alpna, I went after geek girls. I was a geek and wanted a partner who shared my interests. But I ran into a huge problem. Geek girls are so rare that they already have at least a dozen or so other guys chasing after her, even the ugly ones. and this meant that she could just pick the best one and destroy the feelings of all the rest, and I was always one of the rest. Then I met Alpna and realised that I could have a relationship with a normal women and not have to slim down, lift weights and start looking like Adam to be able to win over a hard to get geek girl. And then we all know what happened next, I got dumped because of my geek hobbies. Which means that in order to keep roleplaying, playing video games, and reading comic books, I have to find a geek girl or spend my life alone. And thinking of that, I'm so pissed off.

In conclusion, I hate geek chicks

Or you hate them, because its easy for them. 15 guys to 1 chick. They are guaranteed to get what they want, or at least something close. On top of that, with all the attention we lord on them, they start imagining themselves as some sort of sexual deity, which inevitably leads to them acting like turbo sluts (even though they aren't...cept the naked news chick anyway). They also start doing odd little personality changes to reinforce the attention, like little girl voice in vent, elven slut talk, and pretending to be bi-sexual.

BUT, you need to realize something, and I only know this because I am married to a geek chick. They have earned it. See, life after 17 might be easy for them, cause they have boobies now and they have finally come to grips with the fact that there are people who will accept them, but from 4-16, they are forced to live an introvert lifestyle, and not like the one male geeks do. We have the support of other male geeks, our tribes might have been small, but we all had at least 1 or 2 friends we could completely be ourselves with.

Geek chicks are 100% social outcasts, and girls are fucking awful to each other. Next time your in tims and you see that little geek girl in the long army jacket and thick black rims checking out the manga section, check the dead look in her eyes. She is thoroughly convinced those comics are all she has. Now some of them get lucky, tom boy out early and realize they can hang out with guys and its all good, but it isn't the norm. Most have to fake being goth/emo/whatever to "fit in" to at least some group, and still do the things they really like in secret. I am familiar with this, because to hang out with all the groups I did, trust me I wasnt telling them about my latest game of GURPS with Adam and Ross. I imagine Adam can sympathise as well.

Could also be a jealousy thing, they can use their sexuality to get what they want, but if you tried to use yours it make you a "homo". Or in the case of Lorien Honare, a multiple personality disorder whack job who scares most ladies, but still gets laid WAY too often.

I do understand that, I used to try to hang out with the geek girls back in high school. There was one named Laura who used to talk about her love of the X-Men and how much she loved Rogue, and I asked her out about a bajillion times and got rejected all times. So either geek girls are always shallow, or Laura was just gay for Rogue.

No, female geeks are not ALL lesbos..... But what Q was saying about having a completely introverted lifestyle where you either conform or be completely alone is essentially true, and partially based off of my school existance. Coming from an introverted lifestyle that is styled that way due to lack of outlets or militaristic parents, tends to limit the actual growth of "self". So when these limiting factors in the life are stripped away and there is a group of friends that are accepting around, the geek girl starts doing things they've always wanted to. Like say, being able to say I like girls too, cause now they have people around them that aren't going to act like a bunch of asshats.

Also all girls are a little bit gay, so with a large majority of geek girls hanging out with guys primarily, its real easy for the "gay" in all us girls to come to the fore.

And in terms of the geek girls getting enlarged heads due to the rather large following of men they have now... Yes it happens... For some they were that way all along, for others its due to the aforementioned introverted lifestyles geek girls are use to leading. We were not the chased, nor the lusted for, now suddenly we're all the rage and everyone wants a geek girl?!? WTF?!? Also when it came to the actual dating in highschool settings some of us were too busy hiding to even consider ANY boyfriend to be a good idea.

This is hard to reply to with any detail because I don't want to write a novel and I'm not sure how much of my commentary is coloured by bitterness. The geek girls I'm friends with? Fantastic. Great people and I'm happy to know them. The geek girls I've dated? Basket cases. I'm no paragon of mental health myself but jesus tittyfucking christ...

I think the folly is more in the "type" we adjudicate people into rather than who they actually are. We expect people who are into the same shit that we are to be like us personality and mindset wise but they aren't. This is some High Fidelity shit right here -- judging people by their interests is a mistake. I'm not saying I don't constantly make that mistake as I'm an idiot, but it's not the best thing to do. I've got friends who loathe the things I'm into and they're as a good a friend as anybody else (who the hell as an adult ranks their friends anyway).

As much as it's a pain in the ass, individuals are always more complicated than we expect. As far as Catherine Curtis goes, there's more to her than the blurb on Naked News (which is partially fabricated anyway). I'm not going to get into on here as Google can index this but HHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH there's extensive backstories on everybody, her included.

Unfortunately for many of us on this forum, we all completely understand that we're out of highschool, but how many of us can say with actual confidence, and without giggling, that we're adults(we're all adults physically, but maturity, who are we kidding really).

Feeling like an old man doesn't count Dustin If that were the case I've been an adult since I was 8.

So as intelligent as we are, there are just some things that we can't break out of sometimes. The old highschool instinct to judge people by interests and labeling them as a certain "class" of people, just so happens to be one of them. It's just an easy mode to get into when you are ranting, or just easy to fall into without thinking cause most of us did it for such a long period in our lives, that and society loves to perpetuate labels so all the knowing we're doing it in the world won't make it die.

We have to rank our friends, how else can you make all of them but one feel like shit for not being best man?
