| So we've done some movie marathons recently, but nothing super epic, we did Riddick, then Jack Ryan. But I think we need to do something like Lord Of the Rings, a weekend marathon! | |

| I tried to do that with starwars, you got cancer and died so we had to stop before New Hope. But sure, retry with LoTR, see what comes of it. Maybe themed marathons too, cause sometimes watching one giant story unfold all in 1 go hurts. Angel season 5? | |

| Angel season 5 would be awesome, but I think thats a little esoteric, not sure if we can include The Rick on that one.
And I had the flu, not cancer!

| I think maybe we need to rewatch all of Battlestar. Its something that we all love, to death. Or here's a movie list:
Kill Bill 1 &2 Terminator 1-3 Jurassic Park 1-3 Indiana Jones These are just series that I own, otherwise theres renting so: Jaws Nightmare on Elm Street Planet of the Apes Etc. Don't have much else, theres a bunch we've already done, like Matrix and Die Hard. Or we could do like Director Marathons, like Tarantino, or Kubrick, Non Starwars/Jones George Lucas. We just need to decide on something. Oo Oo I just thought of one that could kill us, we could do Uwe Boll movies!

| We saw salvation during that work relations party thing you and rick did, it got horribad reviews, but I liked it alot. It wasnt the same as the "always night time, crackling lazers and skulls everywhere" future you see snippets of in all the other movies, but it was a more believable world, a little more pleasant then fallout.
The only problem I really had with it was the basic combat programming of the terminators if they are unarmed. Select target. Close distance. Seize target. Throw. Repeat until target is dead...even if you have no legs. If I had to re-write this basic directive I would replace Throw (a command typically leading to you needing to re-chase your prey) with something like "Rip off appendages and use as bludgeon". Or "Crush to juicy pulp, prioritizing ankles, wrists and neck". Clearly whoever programmed the terminators was a Street Fighter fan, and we all know, throws are maximum damage. I just kind of noticed the second a terminator has a hold of someone, even if they dont have an ounce of leverage, the person is inevitably tossed, instead of killed. Throwinators?...no, Hurlinators.
Other then that though, good storyline, obvious room for a sequel but an otherwise full story. Felt alot like Dragons of Autumn Twilight at the end, minor victory, enough for credits, but hey, theres still highlords and dragons all over the fucking place, this is hardly over.

| Super Epic Movie Marathon!!!!
Running Man
Death Race (new version, slow 70's movies drain the life out of a marathon)
Robot Jox
Theme? People dying for other peoples pleasure, in front of a live studio audience!
If we cant find Robot Jox, I guess Gladiator is an ok substitute. Or to stay more on target mel suggested Roller Ball, the newer one, which fits really well.
Edit: Actually, I wanna keep with a post modern theme, so gladiator is a no-no

| As I said, the newer roller ball, not really the greatest movie, but hey, it fits the theme and honestly it wasn't that bad a watch. I'm sure there are other things we can come up with to go along with the theme, we just can't remember them atm. | |
